Ning is best known for her live stage performances, an extensive repertoire and her versatility especially in cross-over projects. She is also an actor and has taken roles in a musical, seven major films, a short film and several tele-movies. Most significant is her critically acclaimed performance in the short film 'Malaikat Di Jendela' (Angel by My Window), directed by Osman Ali. The short film had participated in several film festivals in Cannes, Rotterdam and Singapore. Beside singing and acting, Ning is also a violinist and played 1st violin in the National Youth Orchestra in her teens.











On 10 March 2008, Ning released her first International album 'EastToWest' in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand. The album was fully conceived, produced, recorded and mixed in London.
Ning been the brand ambassador for TIME.com, IMEDEEN, F1 Malaysia, The Singapore Tourism Board, Curlers & Trimmers, Yuzari Batik, and has had strong brand associations with Christian DIOR couture, Christian DIOR parfums, the Carat Club and REDKEN in the past. NING is currently the brand ambassador for SSANGYONG and was recently appointed the Judo Ambassador by the Judo Association of Selangor to create awareness of self-defence for women.Ning was engaged to Omar Shariff Christopher Layton Dalton on 19 July 2007. Omar Shariff (His name after converting to Islam on 7th July 2007) from Nottingham, United Kingdom is a regional Consulting Director for Landmark Graphics for Asia Pacific Region. The couple married on 31 January 2008.

Maduwe Karang Temple

Pura Meduwe Karang at Kubutambahan, is 11km east of Singaraja and 300m west of the junction with the Kintamani road. Its lively and whimsical carvings have a very human quality somehow missing in the other temples. The Pura Meduwe Karang is a Hindu temple dedicated to the male counterpart of the rice goddess Dewi Sri. The name of the temple means "to whom the earth belongs", and the local people come here to beg for a rich harvest in the surrounding coffee, maize, fruit and vegetable plantations. The temple consists of three parts. In the first courtyard (jaba) are three platforms, with 13 figures in the lowest row, ten in the middle row and 13 in the rear row. All the figures represent characters from the "Ramayana". A four-tiered split gate (candi bentar) leads into the second courtyard (jaba tengah). My Daughter Chandra's Nelu Bulanin (3 month old ceremony)

Ceremony 05.05.2008 The most important part of the nelubulanin ceremony, where the baby is held over a flat water-filled clay bowl representing the 'pond of life'. This bowl contains things that will be important for the child in later life: an inscribed lontar leaf representing intelligence & wisdom uang bolong representing wealth grains of rice and kernels of corn representing industriousness and diligence gold and silver jewellery representing the need for desire objects woven into the shape of aquatic animals to bring to life the symbolic pond. What the baby grabs with her right hand will be bestowed upon her in abundance in later life. Then bracelets are put on her hands and feet, a ring on her finger and chain around her neck.
